The school musical this year was another great success. Back to the 80s was a blast from the past. Back to a time when blue eye shadow was acceptable, rubix cubes were essential and power ballads were a must.
It told the story of the senior class of William Ocean High School as remembered by Corey Palmer, played by Aidan Kelly.The 17 year old Corey played by Nicky Byrne who was madly in love with Tiffany Houston, his next door neighbour, played by Aimee Doyle. Unfortunately, Tiffany only had eyes for athletic Michael Feldman (Luke Coleman).
The talented cast members sang some of the most popular songs ever written (Come on Eileen, We are the World, Footloose, Wake Me Up Before You Go Go, Total Eclipse of the Heart and Walking on Sunshine).. They also used up at least 10,000 cans ofhairspray. Well done to all involved!
