On Wednesday January 22nd four higher level Chemistry students travelled to NUI Maynooth for a day full of chemistry experiments and demonstrations. They worked in the undergraduate chemistry labs from 9:30 until 3:30 carrying out experiments from their course under the supervision of science undergraduate and PhD students.
With mock exams looming the day was conveniently placed to help with revisiting important coursework. Chelsea, Aine, Hannah and Padraig relished the opportunity to work in an undergraduate lab in a 3rd level institution.
