Cathy Lillicrap of Carlow Regional Youth Services and Tullow’s Bishop’s house welcomed Micheal Martin to Bishop’s House in Tullow on Tuesday 26th November this week. Students from Tullow Community School’s student council, led by Ms. Megan Scannell, are currently doing a leadership programme with CRYS and Cathy in Bishop’s House. The programme is called Community Roots Leadership Programme. They welcomed the Tanaiste to the facility and discussed leadership issues with him and asked him questions. He said he was impressed with the young people’s questions and listened to their concerns, he also praised the programme and the facility itself. Bishop’s House has always collaborated closely with Tullow Community School and our students and we are very grateful for their work and the programmes they run to support the community. Well done to everyone involved!
