TULLOW COMMUNITY SCHOOL
The Parents Association of Tullow Community are hosting the 4th Annual Fun run/walk for the benefit of Tullow Community School, which will take place on Sunday 7th October next, when people of all ages and sporting prowess are invited to take part.
There was a lovely atmosphere at last year’s event, we are hoping this year’s event will be even bigger and stronger.
All students, Teachers and family members are encouraged to participate in this event. Leisurely strollers are welcome together with the dedicated runners. The 5K or 10K road race/walk begins at the Tullow Community School at 11am. Registration is from 9.30 a.m. onwards and there will be a warm up event with John Kenny of the Local Athletics Club and Brian O’Reilly, Head of the Sports Department.
This year’s event is again being sponsored by Morgan’s Medical Hall Tullow, to whom we are most grateful for their valued support. Events such as these could not be held without the support of our sponsors.
The aim of the event is to encourage healthy lifestyles, outdoor activities and healthy living. With this in mind, the PE teachers in the school are encouraging all students to take part in this event and are organising “Couch to 5K” programmes in the school to encourage increased student participation in this year’s event.

The entry fee for students is €5. Adults’ registration fee is €10 online at justrunevents.com prior to the event or €15.00 on the day.
Spots prizes, special guests, and entertainment will also add to the great atmosphere. We hope to see you there!
