The sports facilities in Tullow Community School include a large sports hall (4 badminton courts), 5 dressing rooms, 2 outdoor Basketball courts, 1 soccer pitch, 1 Gaelic pitch and 2 practice pitches.
Thanks to the commitment of volunteer teachers a wide variety of competitive sports for both boys and girls are played at T.C.S. These include Basketball, Gaelic Football, Soccer, Rugby, Hurling, Golf and Athletics. Students also participate in Horse-riding competitions thanks to the involvement of parents.
5th Year students are offered the opportunity to participate in an “Outdoor Pursuits” weekend, where activities such as surfing, kayaking, hill walking, rock-climbing, orienteering and archery are enjoyed! Over the years the students have been to several Outdoor Education Centres including Cappanalea, Delphi, Westport, Carlingford and Achill.
